Are you passionate about making an impact and gaining hands-on experience in event management, social media, content creation, and design? Join us as a part-time intern at the Bangladesh Olympiad on Astronomy & Astrophysics (BDOAA)! Weâre offering exciting opportunities in 5 key departments.

Key Responsibilities & Eligibility:
Graphics Intern
As a Graphics Intern, you will be responsible for designing promotional materials, event branding, and layouts for both digital and print platforms. You must submit a portfolio of your previous design works, demonstrating proficiency in tools like Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, or Canva. Experience with video editing will be a bonus.
Social Media Intern
You will handle the BDOAAâs online presence by developing content calendars, creating engaging posts, and managing social media communities across platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Candidates should be familiar with social media management tools and able to boost audience engagement.
Community & Partner Management Intern
This role focuses on building partnerships with sponsors, academic institutions, and engaging the broader event community. Youâll manage communications, secure collaborations, and maintain relationships. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
Logistics Intern
You’ll ensure the smooth setup and operation of event logistics, handling everything from managing award materials to venue management. Candidates should have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Location of Residence may be an advantage (i.e. Kataban, Baitul Mukarram, etc).
Content Writing Intern
As a Content Writing Intern, youâll craft blog posts, promotional copy, and press releases to effectively communicate BDOAAâs vision. Strong writing and editing skills are required, with attention to detail in proofreading.
Application Details:
Who Can Apply? Anyone from 10th grade up to university 2nd-year students, from any academic background (Arts, Business, Science, etc.).
Tenure: 4-5 months (Approx. 8-16 hours of work per week).
Work Setting: Virtual with flexibility for special circumstances.

Remuneration: As BDOAA is a non-profit organization, all members work voluntarily. However, operational expenses such as travel costs for BDOAA-related tasks will be covered.
