Khan Muhammad Bin Asad, PhD is an observational astronomer specializing in radio astronomy. He earned his PhD in radio astronomy from the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute, University of Groningen, The Netherlands, and has three years of experience as a postdoctoral research fellow at the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory in Cape Town. His ultimate goal is to establish a robust research environment for astronomy and astrophysics at IUB, demonstrating that it is possible to actively participate in the international astronomy community while working as a researcher at a Bangladeshi university. His work focuses exclusively on observational radio astronomy, leveraging high-performance computing to advance the field.
